My name is Gabi Telcocci and I am an artist!! Yeah! Did you read that? I AM AN ARTIST! And do you know what? I bet you are too. In fact, I know you are!! We all are! Maybe not with paint and markers, but some with food, some with words, some with building things, some with athleticism… the list goes on and on. =)

I recently read a post by an art studio owner I follow on Instagram that really hit home. It talked about how we are all excited when we hear a kid claiming they are an artist, but that we don’t feel comfortable claiming the same thing for ourselves (unless of course, we’re super accomplished and able to make our full living from our art). Now, don’t get me wrong!! That’s my eventual goal! But even if I haven’t reached that yet, I am still an artist. Why do I get to make that claim? Because I create. Because I make. Because I have crazy dreams. I’m claiming it. And I hope you will claim it too!
